Dear friends,
Please join the National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights in urging US ratification of the International Convention on the Protection of Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families (also known as the Migrant Workers Convention). This UN document provides the first comprehensive definition of an “international migrant,” and identifies the human rights protections that are essential to migrants and their families. Forty-seven countries have ratified or acceded to the Migrant Workers Convention since it was approved by the UN General Assembly on December 18, 1990.
NNIRR believes the US should ratify this important agreement and join the global community in upholding a international standards for migrant rights.
Please add your name to the Pledge of Support for ratification! (This Pledge form is for individual endorsers. If you wish to sign on behalf of an organization, please go here)
We are gathering thousands of both individual and organizational endorsements to show broad support for the convention. Together, we can work to raise awareness about the convention's significance and build nationwide pressure for the US to recognize and support it.

Thank you for your support!
